There are other ways to get ntfs files off a drive too. You can access any folder and any file with the free utility found at the link below. To copy large files you will need to connect your bad ntfs drive as the primary drive and have a secondary drive installed that has a fat32 file system. You will use it to store the files you want to copy. The utility is a ntfs file reader/viewer/copyer for dos. Once you finished copying the files you want, hook your good XP drive back up as the primary drive and tranfer the files from the fat32 drive over to it.
